Summer Student Employment
Are you a full-time post-secondary student? Are you looking for full-time summer employment? Yes? Fantastic!
ISC is looking for enthusiastic students wanting to add valuable work experience to their educational undertakings. We have openings for 6 candidates. The types of work vary according to the Work Unit seeking a summer student. At this point we have openings in Operational Excellence, Corporate Affairs, Geomatics Data and Distribution, Human Resources, and others yet to be determined.
There are general duties which you will be asked to complete, such as researching, reporting, responding to customer s, and organizing, along with specialized tasks, unique to the area which you are serving within.
The Recruitment team makes every effort to match your educational and career goals to the Work Units looking for student employees; so if you decide to apply, please be sure to make us aware of what you are doing in school, and where you would like to see yourself when you are finished your current program.
The summer student work terms run from May 7 to August 31, 2012, and include all the usual benefits of short-term in-scope employment with ISC, such as an extra day off every two weeks (the famous “EDO”), 6% accrual of vacation pay, a bonus paid day off, great pay, and working within a modern office environment.

Cooperative Education Program
The Cooperative Education Program works in conjunction with SIAST, Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology (SIIT), Universities of Saskatchewan and Regina, and the First Nations University of Canada to offer students the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience while attending school. ISC supports co-op work terms ranging from 4 months to a maximum of 12 months. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a co-operative work program with a recognized post-secondary institution. Gradworks Intern Development Program
The Gradworks Intern Development Program is an internship program that works with Saskatchewan’s Crown Corporations to provide post-secondary graduates the opportunity to apply their education as paid employees. Gradworks offers recent post-secondary graduates an opportunity to experience a 12-month internship within the network of Saskatchewan Crown Corporations including ISC.
