ISC in the Community

At ISC, we take pride in giving back to the Saskatchewan communities in which we work, live and play.  We passionately support programs, causes and initiatives that make a difference in our province and to its people.
Through our Community Investment program, we contribute 1.5 per cent of our net income annually to support non-profit organizations, community initiatives and diversity programs across the province.

In 2012, ISC has adopted three new areas of focus for our Community Investment program:

Supporting Life Events
This category focuses on supporting the many milestone life events that affect us all. As the corporation responsible for authenticating and recording important information related to specific life events through the Vital Statistics Registry (birth, marriage, death), we support organizations that provide services related to various life events and milestones. Special consideration will be given to initiatives that promote:
  • Health;
  • Education;
  • Marriage/new family; and
  • Support during illness and following the death of a loved one.

Saskatchewan Growth
ISC supports events or activities that benefit local communities or the province as a whole, by fostering business excellence and spurring economic growth.  As a leader in business innovation, ISC strives to support an environment where business growth and innovation can happen readily, without barriers.

Saskatchewan History
ISC supports organizations and initiatives that preserve and/or promote Saskatchewan history. As the safe keeper of important historical documents such as land grants and titles, geographic maps and photos and survey information, we take pride in our ability to provide accurate and secure information to customers. ISC supports other organizations that promote or preserve our rich cultural heritage and instill pride in the people of Saskatchewan. Emphasis will be placed on organizations that:

  • Preserve historical information;
  • Promote and educate historical awareness;
  • Emphasize Saskatchewan history through arts and culture events.
