Acts and Regulations

The Land Registry is the public registry of ownership of land and interests in land, such as mortgages or leases.  In Saskatchewan, title is conclusive evidence of ownership and interests in land, subject to certain exceptions.  Changes in ownership are not effective, and interests are not effective or enforceable against a third party, unless registered in the Land Registry.

The Land Registry is governed by the following Government of Saskatchewan Acts and Regulations. These acts can be found on the Government of Saskatchewan's website.

The Land Titles Act, 2000
The Land Titles Regulations, 2001
