Map Search Help

Map Search is a tool for showing and querying ISC’s Geographic Information System (GIS) map over the Web. Its interactive map allows users to search for Title and Plan information without knowing the exact land title and plan attributes (e.g., title number, land description, lot, block and plan, etc), making it easier to locate the information you need to conduct a transaction.

The Map Search interface will display various levels of detailed spatial information, depending on how far you zoom in or out of the map. Different map layers (e.g., roads, parks, water bodies) may also be turned on or off to create customized map views. You can also identify items on the map that link directly to a title, plan, or other land-related record that is related to your selected parcels.

The following covers the basics of using Map Search - how to get and retrieve information. In the few minutes it takes to read this, you'll learn all you need to know to get started using Map Search.

Launching Map Search

You must sign in to ISC Online Services site to access Map Search. Don't have an ISC Online Services Account? Click here to get one!

Once signed in, select the Launch Map Search link from the Online Services home page. NOTE: Launching Map Search can take a few moments, as a lot of things need to happen. It needs to load all the appropriate data then deliver that data over the Internet to the web browser on your computer.
