Our training sessions take advantage of a small class size and knowledgable Customer Development Consultants, who take a hands-on approach to ensure participants are able to apply their learning in a safe and encouraging environment. These hands-on, interactive sessions allow for in-depth learning about land registration and a variety of ISC processes and technologies relevant to your interaction with ISC.

We currently offer the following core training courses in Regina and Saskatoon at various dates throughout the year:

Beginner Interests - These sessions will introduce participants to Land Registry concepts and provide a basic understanding of how to use Online Submission. Participants will also be led through all OLS Interest Transactions (Interest Discharge, Interest Registration, Interest Amendments, Interest Assignments, Writ/Maintenance Order Registration) and will learn how to create, edit and submit packets.

Beginner Transfers - These sessions will introduce participants to Land Registry concepts and provide a basic understanding of how to use Online Submission. Participants will also be led through all OLS Transfer Transactions (Single and Multi-Title Transfers, Surface Transforms, Transfer to Surviving Joint Tenant, Transmission upon Death or Bankruptcy, adding and removing an Alternate Authority) and will learn how to create, edit and submit packets.

Searches - Hands-on instruction includes navigating the ISC Web site, searching for title, parcel and interest, client and writ information, plus a look at managing client and account numbers, the general record and historical titles. A demonstration of grants and plan searches will also be conducted.

Online Submission Interests - basic knowledge on how to use OLS and in depth instruction related to all interest transactions (e.g., registrations, discharges, amendments and assignments).

Online Submission Transfers - basic knowledge on how to use OLS and in depth instruction related to all transfer transactions (e.g., Single and Multi-Title Transfers, Surface Transforms, Transfer to Surviving Joint Tenant, Transmission upon Death or Bankruptcy, adding and removing an Alternate Authority).

Saskatchewan Land Registry Oil & Gas - This course will focus on Oil and Gas related title searching, interest registrations and packet submissions.  Learn how to easily navigate the ISC website, amalgamate client numbers, perform title searches, search and print interest (caveat) information, as well as registering, assigning and discharging an interest. ISC provides several Oil & Gas related training courses in Calgary, Regina and Saskatoon throughout the year.

Online Submission for Oil & Gas - Basic knowledge on how to use OLS and in depth instruction related to interest transactions; registrations, discharges, amendments and assignments as well as Title Transfers as they relate to the Oil & Gas Industry.
