ISC recognizes that you may have questions about what we do with your personal information. You may wonder what measures we take to protect your privacy. The following information outlines the policies and practices we follow to manage your personal information.

Our commitment to you

ISC respects the privacy of personal information that you, our customer, provide to us.  We have policies, processes and guidelines in place to help protect your personal information. We have controls in place to restrict access to this personal information, according to job requirements and a "need to know" basis.

This privacy statement was developed based on compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, all applicable laws and the ten privacy principles established by the Canadian Standards Association's Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information. Please note that the personal information contained in our public registries (e.g. Land Registry, Saskatchewan Personal Property Registry, Corporate Registry) is owned by the Government of Saskatchewan and maintained by ISC. Public registry information is a matter of public record and not subject to provincial privacy and access legislation.

Why collect personal information?

ISC collects, maintains and uses the personal information you give us in order to provide our products and services to you, and to administer your account. In most cases this includes mailing address, phone number, and service address, if it is different from the mailing address, as well as credit history, and transaction and account history.

Typically, we use your personal information:
  • To identify you
  • To process your application for services or credit
  • To provide requested information about products and services
  • For billing and accounting
  • For customer communication, service and administration, and
  • For analytical purposes (e.g. to determine usage patterns or to assist us in improving products and services).

Disclosing or sharing your information

ISC shares your personal information with our services providers, and only further discloses your personal information if authorized by you, or when permitted or required by law.

Accessing and amending your information
