Account Application - Instructions

Use the Account Application Form to obtain an Account with Information Services Corporation (ISC).

You will first need to be a client to obtain an Account (see the New Client Application Form). As a client, you will be able to use an ISC Account to charge the costs for services you obtain. You may establish an Account associated solely with your client number, or set up an Account to be used by more than one client.

The Account Application is used to establish a Deposit Account used for processing payments and service charges.

ISC will send you a monthly statement indicating all activity including payments, charges and adjustments. The date and the client requesting each of the services for each of your accounts will also appear on the monthly statement. ISC will email, fax or mail your statement according to Section C - Method of Delivery indicated on your Account Application.  As an environmentally friendly company, ISC recommends selecting the email output method of delivery.

You may wish to grant access to other registered clients by providing them with your Account Number and Account Password. Please use discretion when providing such information, as the account password acts as your authorization for charges to your account.

This form may also be used to update or amend your Account Information, or to change your account password.

If you or your organization would like to establish credit with the Information Services Corporation, a Credit Application must be completed (see the Credit Application Form). You can apply for a Client Number, an Account Number and a credit limit at the same time. The Credit Application can be submitted in conjunction with the previous two applications, or it can be submitted at a later date.

Once ISC e-Business Services has processed your applications, a Client Number and Account Number will be sent to you. Please use this information when submitting requests for service or payments to ISC. If you complete a Credit Application, you will be notified of your credit limit.

Your Client Number can be used for services through the Customer Service Centres of ISC or on the ISC website (www.isc.ca). When you use your Client Number on the ISC website you will be asked to create a username and password. When submitting a request for services you will need to supply your Client Number, your Account Number and its password.

Your Account Number must be indicated on all payments sent to ISC to ensure requests are processed accurately and promptly. An account must have available funds for service requests otherwise the request will be rejected.

ISC offers the following methods of payment.
  • Cash or Debit Card – in person at a Customer Service Centre (www.isc.ca/csc);
  • Cheque or Money Order payable to Information Services Corporation – in person or by mail. Record your Account Number on the back of your cheque or money order;
