End or Restart an Extra-provincial Business Corporation Registration

If your Saskatchewan Business Corporation is no longer required to be extra-provincially registered or needs to be restarted in another province, you must visit the registry in the applicable province to cancel your registration.

If you are an extra-provincial business corporation from Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec, or federal, you must file online via the Corporate Registry application. Extra-provincial business corporations from other jurisdictions may online or via forms.

Cancel your Extra-Provincial Registration:

Follow the steps below to cancel your extra-provincial registration.
  • Login to the Corporate Registry application.
    • Select ‘File’.
  • Enter your entity number or name in the ‘update entity’ field.
    • Click on your entity name that displays.
    • Select the 'Request for Strike Off' option.
  • Complete the application and submit.
    • Once your request has been processed, a message will be posted in the "Messages" tab in the Corporate Registry application.
If you are a business corporation from Alberta, British Columbia, or Manitoba, when your status changes to inactive in your home jurisdiction, this information will be shared with the Saskatchewan Corporate Registry via MRAS.  Your extra-provincial business corporation in the Saskatchewan Corporate Registry will automatically be struck off (made inactive).
