DSL for Interest Amendments

The following instructions are for using the Document Storage Library (DSL) when amending an interest using Online Submissions (OLS). Using the DSL for an interest amendment is very similar to completing an interest amendment without the DSL. As demonstrated below, the only significant change occurs when it comes to including attachments and authorizations.

  1. Once you have logged into www.isc.ca and launched Online Submission (OLS), click on the Interests Tab. The "Select or Create Packet" section will become visible.
  2. Click on either the Create in a New Packet or the Add to Existing Packet radio button.

  1. Review the information and enter an optional packet description. Click on the Continue button to display the "New Interest Transaction" section.

  1. Click on the Interest Amendment radio button, then click on the Create button to open the "New Interest Setup" screen.

  1. Select the radio button for either the Interest Register No. or the Interest No. Enter the number in the field provided and click on the Find button.
  2. Click the check box next to the document with the DSL Number.
  3. Select the radio button for the Conditions and scroll down to the "Manage Authorizations and Attachments" section.

  1. Enter the DSL # in the field provided and click on the Add To Packet button. The standard document will be added. Click on the Attachment check box to indicate that the document is an attachment.

NOTE: If you do not know the DSL # or have entered an inactive DSL #, you may click on the Search DSL button to open the DSL application in a new window. Please see the Searching for a Document page for more information on how to search for documents in the Document Storage Library.

  1. Click on the New Upload button to add the authorization document. Click on the Authorization check box to indicate that the document is an attachment.
  2. Save and validate the packet by clicking on the Save and Validate buttons. If no errors are encountered, you may then submit the packet by clicking on the Submit Packet button.
