DSL for Interest Registrations

The following instructions are for using the Document Storage Library (DSL) when registering an interest using Online Submission (OLS). Using the DSL for an interest registration is very similar to completing an interest registration without the DSL. As demonstrated below, the only significant change occurs when it comes to including attachments and authorizations.

1. Click the Interests Tab. The "Select or Create Packet" section will become visible.
2. Click on the Create in a New Packet or the Add to Existing Packet radio button.  


3. Review the information and enter an optional packet description. Click on the Continue button. The "New Interest Transaction" section will display.



4. Click on the Interest Registration radio button and then on the Create button. The system will open the "New Interest Setup" screen.



5. Select the Interest Type from the drop down menu.
6. Enter the Interest Value in the field provided.
7. Enter the Number of Fractional Shares in the field provided, and then click on the Create Shares button.
8. Select the radio button for the Conditions and scroll down to the "Manage Authorizations and Attachments" section.



9. Click on the New Upload button to add non-standard documents. Click on the Attachment check box to indicate that the document is an attachment.



10. Enter the DSL# in the field provided and click on the Add To Packet button. The standard document will be added. Click on the Attachment check box to indicate that the document is an attachment.

NOTE: If you do not know the DSL # or have entered an inactive DSL #, you may click on the Search DSL button to open the DSL application in a new window. Please see the Searching for a Document page for more information on how to search for documents in the Document Storage Library.

11. Save and validate the packet by clicking on the Save and Validate buttons. If no errors are encountered, you may then submit the packet by clicking on the Submit Packet button.
