When preparing to amend an interest you must first indicate the Interest Register you would like to amend. The search can be performed by either the Interest Register Number or one of the Interest Numbers.
- If searching by Interest Register Number, select the Interest Register radio button and enter the Interest Register Number in the "Interest Register No." field and click the "Find" button. If searching by Interest Number, select the Interest radio button and enter the Interest Number in the "Interest No." field and click the "Find" button. The system will bring back a listing of all the interest numbers contained within the specific interest register.
- Enter any changes you need to make in the appropriate field(s) on the Amend Interest Register Information screen. Once you make a change and leave the field, the wording in the Action column changes. The options are “Amend To,” “No Change,” or “Deleted.” The Restore Current button undoes the changes that you made.
Note: The system will limit you to 180 characters in the Description of Interest field.
Note: Judgments may only be amended by registration in the Saskatchewan Personal Property Registry.
Note: You cannot have both a description of the interest and an attachment.
Note: Postponements may not be amended. If terms or the priority among holders is being changed, you should discharge the existing postponement and register a new one.
