How to Add Parking Units to the Condo Units Grid

Some condominium plans set out not only residential units but parking units as well.

A parking unit links to a residential unit. Whichever residential unit the parking unit links to, that residential unit and the parking unit must have identical ownership.

Each residential unit can be linked to at most one parking unit. A parking unit cannot have the same unit number as any of the residential units.

Some parking units may not be linked to a residential unit. These parking units are considered to be stand alone parking units.

Use the following steps to add a parking unit to the Condo Unit grid. If your packet contains more than 100 applications, please contact 1-866-275-4721 before submitting through Online Submission.

Step 1: Enter Information for First Parking Unit

Enter the Unit Number, Unit Factor and Unit Value for one parking unit at a time.

Choose Parking from the Unit Type drop down.

Enter the residential unit number the parking unit will link to, in the Linked to Unit field.

Step 2: Add First Parking Unit

Click the Add button. The parking unit will be added to the Condo Units grid and show a Status of Added.

Step 3: Add Additional Parking Units

Continue to add as many parking units as are designated on the condominium plan and link to the applicable residential units. Each parking unit must be added one at a time.

The total of all residential and parking units unit factors must be 10,000.
