Viewing the Transform Approval Certificate (TAC)

Once a new packet has been created or an existing one selected, the page is refreshed to display a section in which the user can enter a TAC number and view the TAC.

The "View TAC" section allows the user to optionally view more detailed information concerning the source (surrendered) parcels, including important tie and lock information. The actual title from the LAND system can also be viewed from a link on the title list table.

The TAC view also displays a list of the new parcel(s) that are approved to be created. From this list, the user can choose to create separate setups, use the same setup data and/or use the original setup (title) data for the new parcels.

Option A - Setup Parcels Individually

If the user selects that they want to create separate setups for one or more selected new parcels, they will be given the ability to create the setup(s) for each new parcel through a Select New Parcel drop down list displayed in a New Parcel Setup section that is opened when the Begin Setup button is clicked. Once the user has completed creating the setup(s) for the selected new parcel, they are returned to the New Parcel Setup section until all selected new parcels in the drop down list have been dealt with. When this is done, the user is returned to the View TAC section to select and deal with any new parcels in the TAC table for which new titles were not created.

Option B - Setup Parcels Identically

Another option the user has available for creating titles is to use the same setup data (i.e. owner(s) and conditions) for a group or batch of new parcels. This involves the development of a template which is created once and then applied to all of the new parcels in the group. New titles created in this manner can still be individually opened and edited without affecting the other new titles in the group. The user can initiate changes to the template and optionally apply them to all titles, not yet submitted, that were created with that template. Once this batch setup is completed, the user is returned to the View TAC section to select and deal with any new parcels in the TAC table for which new titles were not created.

Option C - Setup Parcels using Current (Title) Information

A third option for creating new titles is to use the original setup data for a title to create a new title. This pre-fills the setup text fields and input options with the information taken from the original title. This option is most commonly used when dealing with remainder parcels. Upon clicking the Begin setup button after selecting this option, the page is refreshed to display the setup for the first new title in the group. The New Parcel Setup section is not required nor displayed.  As with the other two options, upon completion of this group of setups, the user is returned to the View TAC section to select and deal with any new parcels in the TAC table for which new titles were not created.
