Enforcement Charge Provincial Judgment - Instructions

Complete this Enforcement Charge Provincial Judgment form to create the registration of a new enforcement charge.  Important notes:

  • Judgments must be registered in the Court of King’s Bench of Saskatchewan before registering in the Saskatchewan Personal Property Registry.  Please visit Courts of Saskatchewan website for more information on the enforcement process. 

Registering a Judgment against a Title or Interest - The judgment must first be registered in the Saskatchewan Personal Property Registry (SPPR) before the judgment can be registered against a title or interest.  To register a judgment against a Title or Interest you must complete the Land Registry Packet Cover Page and Application for Judgment RegistrationSee Judgment Registry Form Bundle page.

Client Information: Client Reference is for your information to identify your document; this field is not mandatory. If you do not have an account with ISC leave the Account and Password fields blank and ISC will contact you regarding payment.

Registrant Information: This is the party that is registering the document. Only one name (business or individual) can be indicated on this form. You must enter one of the following: Party ID, Business Name, or Individual Name(s).  Address information is mandatory if Party ID is blank.  The Generation and Date of Birth fields are optional.  Check ‘Estate’ if applicable.

Output Selection: This is how you will receive your verification statement of the registration.  Attention and Phone Number fields are mandatory. You must select one of the Output options: Email, Mail, or Fax.

Note: There is an associated output fee for each option.

Registration Type & Life: Mandatory – enter your judgment date from your judgment obtained at the provincial courts.  The ‘Registration Life’ field automatically calculates as 10 years from date of judgment.

Transaction Description: Provide a brief summary of the reason for registration.  This is optional.

Linked Type: Optional – Enter this area only if you have registered another agreement under an incorrect registration type and you need to identify a change of registration type.

Notations: You must enter the Court number (i.e., Court of King’s Bench - KBG number or Family Court - FLD number).  The Amount and Judicial Centre are optional. 

Court Order Information: This section is only required for Court orders only.  Judgments are not considered a Court Order.  The Court Order Date and Court Order number are mandatory fields.  Optional fields are the Court Order Amount and Court Order Judicial Centre. Important: A copy of the Court Order must be included.

Creditor Party: This is the party that is owed money.  If the creditor is the same as the Registrant, select “Same as Registrant”.   If the creditor is different from Registrant, you must enter one of the following: Party ID, Business Name, or Individual Name(s).  Address information is mandatory if Party ID is blank.  The Generation and Date of Birth fields are optional.  Check ‘Estate’ if applicable.

Note: There is only room for one creditor party in this section. If you have additional creditors, you will need to complete the Additional Schedules for Original Submission form.

Debtor Party:  This is the party that owes money to the creditor. Only two names (business or person) can be indicated on this form. You must enter one of the following for all debtors: Party ID, Business Name, or Individual Name(s).  Address information is mandatory if Party ID is blank.  The Generation and Date of Birth fields are optional.  Check ‘Estate’ if applicable.

Note: There is only room for two debtor parties in this section. If you have additional debtors, you will need to complete the Additional Schedules for Original Submission form.

Serial Property Information: If claiming against a serial property item as defined in the Personal Property Security Act (PPSA), complete the following fields: Serial Type, Serial Number, Year, Make, Model & Colour. 

Note: There is room for 2 serial property items. If you have additional serial property, you will need to complete the Additional Schedules for Original Submission form.

General Property: In accordance with The Enforcement of Money Judgment Regulations, all judgments automatically apply to “All of the personal property and lands of the debtor within Saskatchewan.”

This section can be completed if the collateral is not a serial property item in accordance with the Personal Property Regulations.

RIN Number: Registration Identification Number provides additional security.  To either amend or discharge you will be required to provide the RIN number if one was applied. We recommend the use of this section.

Authorization: Mandatory fields are: Printed Name, Signature of Printed Name, and Phone Number.

Office Use Only: Do not use.

Payment Method:   Determine method of payment.  See the PPR Fee Schedule if required.
