The Provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba are participants in the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA). This agreement reduces barriers to trade, investment and labour movement making it easier to do business across these provinces.  

The NWPTA impacts processes for extra-provincial registration of limited liability partnerships and co-operatives between the provinces. Note: Business Corporations and Limited Partnerships must file online at the provincial registry in the target extra-provincial jurisdiction.
