Registrar's Warning (Transfer Permitted) - remainder Mineral Title Only - Positive Commodity Titles

This lock has been placed on a mineral commodity title to qualify the reference to all mines and minerals. This lock is an indication that this title is not for all mines and minerals.

In other words, the title will read "All mines and minerals". However, because a mineral commodity title already exists for this parcel this title is not for all mines and minerals. The exception will be listed in the lock detail. For example, the deal may read, "Coal and petroleum excepted".

In this example, coal and petroleum may have been reserved when the land was still at the quarter section level. When the quarter section was subdivided into lot, block and plan, each certificate of title may reference all mines and minerals except coal and petroleum. This lock is an indication this title is not for all mines and minerals as the coal and petroleum still remain at the quarter section level.

In this example, a parcel count correction would be required to subdivide the parcel containing the coal and petroleum into parcels for each lot - block - and plan.

This lock may be used in conjunction with the Registrar’s Warning - (Transfer Permitted).

This lock is registered at the title level and will appear on a title print.

Functionality of the Lock

This is a Notice Lock Type and will not prevent any transactions.

Removal of the Lock

This lock will be removed when the circumstances requiring the notice on the title no longer exist. For example, if a Registrar’s correction to align the relevant mineral parcels is completed, such that there are both balance, coal and petroleum titles for each lot-block-plan parcel, this notice may be removed.
