Here you'll find a number of different documents describing the requirements on how to prepare each of the various plans, such as Descriptive, Feature and Subdivision Plans.

Condominium Guide
This comprehensive guide to condominium plans outlines our requirements for various condominium types, redivisions of units and includes a sample Application for Change Order and Certificate of Approval. 

Community Planning Approval Required Support Documents
This document sets out the required support documents for different scenarios including Community Planning Approval requirements and required affidavits.

Dedicated Land Required Support Documents
This document sets out the required support documents for various dedicated land types like public reserves, walkways and buffer strips including bylaw and consent requirements.

Descriptive Plan Type I
The Descriptive Plan Type I was designed to replace the old metes and bounds descriptions and to allow for something other than a full plan of survey.  Applicable situations include some Lot boundary re-arrangements and Farmyard site parcels  This document also includes general requirements and examples.
 
Descriptive Plan Type II
The Descriptive Plan Type II was designed to replace the old metes and bounds descriptions and to allow for something other than a full plan of survey.  Applicable situations include some parcel consolidations, parcel class code changes and more.  This document also includes general requirements and examples.

Feature Plans
Feature plans used for interest purposes replace pipelines and easement right of ways prepared under the previous land titles system.  This document outlines general requirements, applicable support documents and helpful examples.

This manual provides direction on plan preparation along with mandatory field procedures which are to be followed.

Road Survey Guide
This edition of the Road Survey Guide replaces the former ‘Road Surveys - Manual of Instructions for the Guidance of Surveyors’ guide dated April 1999.  The requirements in this manual cover roads surveyed for: 1) the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure and, 2) Saskatchewan Rural Municipalities.  The goal of this manual is to provide practical and efficient methods for conducting Legal Surveys that satisfy the needs of all stakeholders while continuing to contribute to the preservation of the Province’s Legal Survey System.

Subdivision Plans
Surface subdivision plans show the division of land into surface parcels.  Mineral subdivision plans show the division of land into mineral parcels.  This document outlines our requirements for both types including applicable support documents and helpful examples.

Surveys Outside the Provincial Survey System
This document provides guidance to Land Surveyors involved in surveys lying outside the Provincial Land Survey System.  Typical examples of such surveys include hunting and trapping sites and remote commercial and residential sites.
