Maintain a Business Corporation

Business information must be maintained via an annual return. If changes are made to a corporation, they must be filed with the Corporate Registry within 15 days.

Maintenance

Annual Return
Every business corporation must, each year, send to the Corporate Registry an annual return.

Annual returns are due one month after the anniversary of the date of incorporation. For example, if your incorporation date is July 15, 2008, your first annual return would be due on August 31, 2009, and every August 31 after that, as long as the corporation continues to exist. File your annual return on line to take advantage of a discounted price. Late annual returns will be subject to a late fee. Please see the fee schedule for more information.

The annual return will be available via email or a form via mail. These will be sent to the corporation at the email address associated with the entity or mailing address of its registered office at least one month before the due date.

If an annual return is not received within two months of the due date, the Corporation will be struck from the Register of Corporations.
