Surrendering Titles - This section will assist you in understanding the "Surrender" component of a title transfer.   A transfer is a combination of a title surrender, and at least one title setup.

Using Search Result for Title Surrender - This section will assist you in understanding how to use the results of a Search done using the Search functionality within OLS for use in the Title "Surrender" section of the Title Transfer area.

Choosing Ownership Type - This section will assist you in understanding the four types of ownership structures from which you may choose when setting up new titles.  They are:

• Single Owner
• Joint Tenants
• Joint Tenants (Without Survivorship)
• Tenants in Common

Fractional Title Share - This section will assist you in understanding the Fractional Title Share component of a title transfer.

Identifying Title Value - This section will assist you in understanding how to complete the New Title Value field.

Identifying New Owner - Once you have identified the new ownership structure (i.e. Single Owner, Joint Tenants, Tenants in Common) you must next identify the new owner.  You can use either an existing LAND system client number or create a new client number for non-corporate entities.

Identifying Conditions of Registration - This section will assist you in understanding the concepts of Conditional Registration, Free & Clear Titles and No Conditions upon registration.

Title Setup Templates - If you have multiple title transfers that require the use of the same or similar title setup information, the title setup template option can save you a great deal of time and effort.
